ICON Multimedia with its Integral Communication System have been selected by the Carlos III University of Madrid to give their Campus the most powerful Solution for Digital Signage market.

The Carlos III University of Madrid was founded on May 5, 1989 with the aim of being an innovative public university, small in size but with quality and priority research orientation. Today the Carlos III University has a faculty of about 1,500 professors and researchers attending the training needs of about 18,000 students spread over 4 Campus of Getafe, Leganés, Madrid-Puerta de Toledo and Colmenarejo, with a total area of 345,000 square meters.
The solution deployed by ICON Multimedia is composed of 22 point display deployed in the four Campus and located in common areas, halls, libraries, coffee shops and sports center among other locations, and will replace and expand a previously existing solution that didn,t meet the excellence requirements of the institution.
Special relevance within the Project has the Streaming display content section, indispensable requirement of the Communication Department of the University. The tremendous versatility of DENEVA.cuatro, with the huge range of supported Streaming formats has made the ICON Multimedia product the natural choice where others previously failed.
Besides reusing available equipment, we have chosen as last generation media players technology the NUC based on Intel i3 processors, and to deliver the highest viewing quality has opted for the Philips professional large format displays.

ICON Multimedia con su Sistema Integral de Comunicación DENEVA.cuatro, han sido seleccionados por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid para dotar a sus Campus de la más potente solución de Digital Signage del mercado.
Mediante DENEVA es posible publicar contenidos multimedia y ofrecer servicios interactivos al alumnado, profesorado y visitantes, mejorando así la experiencia de usuario y ofreciendo un servicio de máxima calidad.
La Universidad Carlos III de Madrid fue creada el 5 de Mayo de 1989 con la vocación de ser una Universidad Pública innovadora, de dimensiones reducidas, de calidad y con una orientación prioritaria hacia la investigación. En la actualidad la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid cuenta con un equipo docente de cerca de 1.500 docentes e investigadores que atienden las necesidades formativas de cerca de 18.000 estudiantes distribuidos en los 4 Campus de Getafe, Leganés, Madrid-Puerta de Toledo y Colmenarejo, con una superficie total de 345.000 metros cuadrados.
La solución desplegada por ICON Multimedia está compuesta por 22 Punto de Visualización desplegados en los cuatro Campus, y ubicados en zonas comunes, halls, bibliotecas, cafeterías y polideportivos entre otras ubicaciones y que viene a sustituir y a expandir una solución previamente existente que no cumplía con los requisitos de excelencia propios de la Institución.
Especial relevancia dentro del Proyecto tiene el apartado de visualización de contenido en Streaming, requisito indispensable del Departamento de Comunicación de la propia Universidad. La tremenda versatilidad de DENEVA.cuatro, junto con la enorme gama de formatos de Streaming soportados han hecho del producto de ICON Multimedia la elección natural donde otros Sistemas fallaron con anterioridad.
Además de reutilizar el equipamiento ya disponible, se ha optado como reproductores multimedia de última generación por la tecnología NUC de Intel basada en procesadores i3, y para ofrecer la máxima calidad de visualización se ha apostado por pantallas profesionales de gran formato de Philips.
