ICON Multimedia implements its PIS on the Metrovalencia tram network

The Valencian public railway company, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV), will feature ICON Multimedia’s information system for passengers, DENEVA, on its tram lines, which will include requests for real-time communication on waiting times, as well as other service related notifications such as incidents or recommendations.

All this information will be integrated into DENEVA platform, already implemented in FGV’s control center, through which all the subway stations and also more than 100 above ground stations in the Metrovalencia network are managed in a centralized way. In addition, DENEVA allows different means of transport to be unified in the same system, with a commitment to intermodality.

This action will begin to be implemented through the installation of LED remote indicators at the stops of lines 4, 6 and 8 of the tram network, which also incorporates a new system for visual impaired passengers which enables the information displayed to be audible, in order to facilitate the contents accessibility.

ICON Multimedia expands its services at ADIF stations

ICON Multimedia continues its growth with the installations of its DENEVA Passenger Information System at the Elche, Murcia and Orihuela ADIF stations. For this last station, it has been adapted the features of the previous local train station to centrally integrate and manage the information of both stations.

Also, in order to guarantee a better service to ADIF users, ICON Multimedia has updated its PIS, in those stations where it is already present. In this way, DENEVA is updated to its latest version in stations such as Barcelona-Sant, where, in addition, passengers will be informed of the changes caused by the track reconditioning works.

Many of these stations will also have new display devices. This is the case of the Levante stations such as València Estació del Nord or Joaquín Sorolla, Teruel or Atocha.

Arzábal group relies on DENEVA’s Menu Board solution to showcase its gastronomic offer

With over 10 years of experience in the restaurant sector, Arzábal Group has installed at its establishments in Madrid a modern digital Menu Board solution based on ICON Multimedia’s DENEVA software. This company has worked with its technological partner Retinna for the design, supply, integration and implementation of this display system.

This Digital Menu Board has several LG professional monitors of 43-inch model SM5KE and 65-inch model UH5F, using the webOS 4.0 system that allows DENEVA to play dynamic content such as videos, images and HTML5. A feature that makes it especially useful for the customer, since it allows to load dynamic prices with the integration of their own internal applications. In this way, Arzábal Group, faithful to its corporate identity, shows its gastronomic offer in an innovative way, but maintaining the genuine spirit that its taverns also preserve. In the words of Álvaro Castellano, co-founder of Arzábal Group: “We sought to renew our spaces while preserving the essential tradition. For this reason, this digital presentation of our menu offers us a lot of versatility, dynamism and flexibility, being able to adapt and update the contents in real time according to each establishment, or based on our menus and seasonal products.”

DENEVA’S Menu Board solution implemented at Arzábal Group is a powerful communication and promotion tool for the restaurant sector that allows the distribution of specific contents for each monitor that makes up the solution, or it can be synchronized to play videos and animations in large sizes. In addition, it allows customer databases to be loaded in order to automatically update products, prices or other information; as well as linking to the restaurant’s POS for dynamic publication of prices based on promotions or existing stock.

Both ICON Multimedia and its partner Retinna have offered personalised advice to Arzábal Group, adapting their solutions to its specific needs and always accompanying it on its digital transformation journey.

DENEVA validates two more last generation LG players in its Digital Signage software

The DENEVA software manufacturer, ICON Multimedia, has certified two more LG players, thus obtaining a higher level of compatibility with all the functionalities of its Digital Signage platform.

webOS Signage & Digital Media Player on webOS 4.0

In particular, it is the model 130” All-in-one LED Screen specially designed for corporate environments that, integrated within a 130″ monitor, allows to improve performance efficiency by including a high-performance SoC with webOS. This allows a seamless integration and automated control of all the functionalities of Deneva software compatible with all current versions of webOS, in order to ensure the correct management of any digital signage project.

Recently, the WP400 external player has also been validated. Updated to the Signage WebOS 4.0 version, it allows you to manage and distribute content through Deneva software or develop network applications for multiple devices. The versatility of the player and its compatibility with Deneva, allows to address multiple points within a digital signage circuit, with a UHD video playback, guaranteeing thus the spectacularity and its high performance in projects of different sectors to which it can be applied.

ICON Multimedia has already integrated these two players into different projects managed with Deneva in sectors such as retail, dealership, QSR and transport. In addition, they work thoroughly on testing other webOS devices for special integration with its Safe & Tech solutions, which aim to provide health safety in facilities after COVID-19.

Capacity control systems and ocupation in wagons: the new funcionalities of DENEVA for Smart Stations

With the aim of managing the influx and mobility of passengers in the railway sector and also to guarantee the safety distance, ICON Multimedia integrates capacity control solutions, people counting systems and wagon occupancy into its Passenger Information System, DENEVA.

Now, it’s possible to show real-time information about the occupation of the platforms in all the screens managed with DENEVA, by using advanced AI algorithms, and integrated the IP camaras of the stations to the displays. In addition, it allows to launch visual and audio alerts thought PA, when the maximum occupancy in platforms is exceeded, in order to avoid crowds.

This solution is one of the DENEVA Safe and Tech solutions, as well as the one that is already integrated, that allow to display the occupation of wagons, so that passengers could distribute themselves along them, keeping the safety distance.

ICON MULTIMEDIA minimises the risk of COVID-19 contagion through its DENEVA PIS

With the aim of ensuring the safety measures compliance, in terms of distance, physical temperature and flow of people in the transport industry, ICON Multimedia offers the possibility to integrate its ‘Safe & Tech’ solutions with its Passenger Information System, DENEVA

The use of Big Data technology and the integration of people’s counting systems or facial recognition systems with their PIS will facilitate the capacity control at stations to avoid crowding, determine the busiest lines, as well as to limit the access, reporting via PA and the screens located at train stations, platforms or bus stops.

DENEVA will also make possible the report in real time of the wagons’ occupation, allowing passengers to distribute themselves along the train and raise the frequency of passage, mainly at peak times, to reduce waiting times and ensure the social distancing compliance.

DENEVA Safe&Tech, Smart Signage Solutions for COVID-19

Being aware of the concern about the business re-establishment to normality, ICON Multimedia launches the DENEVA.Safe&Tech solutions, their new line of ‘Smart Signage’ measures that guarantee, in real-time, the security and protection to all clients and workers, in compliance with the current regulations to prevent the Covid-19 spread.

These solutions combine the higher technology used in Digital Sigange with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) systems for people counting with high accuracy. By integrating the upgraded queue systems, they ensure the capacity management and people’s traffic in the establishments, letting the transients know the number of persons missing to reach the maximum occupancy or the areas with the least influx of people. In addition, they have an alarm system for the staff of the shop or the security person so that they can know if the actual occupancy is close to the maximum.

DENEVA.Safe&Tech also come with biometric systems for facial or corporal recognition, identifying if the individual is wearing mask, or if the security distance is being kept. When these norms are being breached, alarm messages will be released, ensuring this way the correct execution of health, safety and social distance regulations between people.

DENEVA.Safe&Tech is totally integrated with the Digital Signage software DENEVA, so that corporate or promotional communications can be also launched with the aim of encouraging the purchase or even getting advantage of the moments of higher public attention.

This new line solutions are ideal for supermarkets, large areas, retail shops, and even ‘fast-food retails’. Furthermore, they can be applied to other workspaces in order to guarantee a secure returning of all workers.

ICON Multimedia is finalising the latest tests in intelligent self-service kiosks in order to avoid the contact with the touch-devices through systems of voice recognition, and ‘Mirroring’ systems that enable the interaction through the smartphone. This way, a controlled and personalised communication that moves toward a digital experience based on each person can be achieved.

ICON Multimedia presents its latest Smart Retail solutions at ISE (Integrated System Europe), focusing on Mirandda, its renewed interactive fitting room. On this occasion, the company turns out along with its partner Philips Professional Displays. At its booth (10-K170), it will show this solution that is based on an interactive mirror located in the fitting room area. It aims to improve the shopping experience inside the shops.

Thanks to RFID technology, Mirandda identifies the clothing introduced into the fitting room. At that time, the smart mirror shows to the customer other recommendations and possible combinations to complete the outfit. Moreover, customers can order other sizes and colours available, find more information about the composition of all clothes, check the complete outfits catalogue, or display the wishlist created via web with a quick and easy personal identification process. All of this, without the need to leave the fitting room, and also, preserving customers’ privacy due to there’s not camara integration. Thus, creates and innovative experience based on customer customization.

The staff receives the requests through mobile devices and monitoring displays located outside of the fitting room area. They allow to handle the request in the shortest period of time and brings the new clothes to the correct fitting room, improving the customer service.

The main potential of Mirandda is the use of this solution as a Business Intelligence tool. It allows to know the customers’ preferences based on their interactions, the fitting room stay time, or the clothing items more requested. Also, it provides information about the effectiveness of the staff. All of this will help to strategically optimize business decisions.

ICON Multimedia has developed this application with its partner Steel Performance, Mirandda’s approved manufacturer. The company is a company specialized in the design and production of digital signage devices and structures, in order to create customized high-tech solutions and to adapt them to customers’ needs from different industries.

Mirandda solutions and all DENEVA Digital Signage solutions for Smart Retail could be discovered at Philips Professional Display’s booth (10-K170), during ISE 2020 from 11 to 14 February in Amsterdam. More information:www.mirandda.com
