The Digital Signage Project of Brittany Ferries by DENEVA awarded at the AV Integration Awards 2024

The renowned AV Integration Audiovisual sector publication has awarded DENEVA the Best Digital Signage Project Award for their work with Brittany Ferries at the prestigious AV Integration Awards 2024.

The jury selected this Brittany Ferries project as the winner due to its outstanding technical complexity and the challenges overcome in implementing digital signage in a maritime environment where connectivity is intermittent or even non-existent. The flexibility and robustness of DENEVA’s software were key factors in this recognition, demonstrating its ability to adapt to diverse customer requirements.

Beyond traditional signage implementation, this project has developed advanced functionalities such as Infokioks and Accommodation Object, significantly enhancing the passenger experience at sea. These innovations not only facilitate onboard communication but also provide crucial information and interactive services that enrich travelers’ stay.

This award reaffirms ICON Multimedia’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of Digital Signage, highlighting DENEVA’s ability to deliver advanced and adaptable technological solutions in the most challenging environments.

‘Digitaxi’, the Revolution of Taxi Advertising with DENEVA

Madrid becomes the first site of an innovative project in the urban transport advertising sector. The companies Gran Pantalla and Screensor Tech have pioneered the digitalization of transport with DigiTaxi, a new advertising medium that incorporates digital screens inside taxis. Equipped with the advanced DENEVA software, these screens are revolutionizing the user experience by offering segmented and geolocated advertising through Artificial Intelligence and Big Data technologies.

This software not only ensures high attention from passengers through personalized advertising content, but also collects precise data through audience measurement to profile targets, always respecting passenger privacy.

The initial deployment began successfully in June in Madrid, with the installation of the first units in strategically selected taxi fleets. Positive results have led to plans to expand to major cities in Spain, aiming to reach more than 600 screens in the coming months.

For Gran Pantalla, this evolution in the advertising offer is essential. Much of its assets are digital, and with this new model in a premium location like taxis, they can personalize content and connect more effectively with their advertisers’ customers, offering an experience tailored to the audience type.

This project is a collaboration between Gran Pantalla, responsible for managing advertising spaces, Screensor Tech, which manages the global implementation of the solution, and DENEVA, which provides the software for content management and audience measurement.

The digitalization of taxis in Madrid represents a unique opportunity to maximize the potential of advertising spaces in urban transport. Thanks to precise audience measurement and optimized segmentation, more effective and targeted campaigns can be offered.

With this initiative, these technological partners reaffirm their commitment to innovation in the field of Digital Signage applied to transport, using audience measurement, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence to offer advanced technological solutions. Advertising in urban transport is undergoing an unprecedented transformation, positioning itself at the forefront of this change and making the future of advertising a tangible reality.
